We were going to clean the cage out today but looked in and the baby mice are up and about..well 2 of them anyway. The mom looks extremely nervous and keeps taking them back to the nest. LOL So, we decided to leave them be today and maybe clean it tomorrow. We've been spot cleaning the cage and we can't smell it...so it's not THAT dirty. We just don't want to cause anymore stress to them.
We are SO excited though...and my boys were beside themselves. LOL too fun! I tried to get pics but the babies are SO small and the cage is tinted plastic..so the pics didn't come out that great..but you get the idea. :-) We think they are about 13 or 14 days old today.
(Just so you know..that is food in the cage not poop LOL)
